Experience & Quality. We have a high quality team of 17 professionals based in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, with experience in originating, documenting and closing structured finance transactions. Established in 2001, the team has quickly established itself as a significant player in Standard Chartered's core markets, having completed 27 deals carrying a combined value of more than USD8.5 billion. Among recent deals we have closed are a USD233 million structured UK ship lease of 2 bulk carriers for a Korean shipping line, a USD260 million tax efficient bond issue for the Malaysian operations of a HK-based conglomerate and a USD300 million tax effective financing for an Asian-based hotel group.
