How do I register online for my personal digital certificate?

The registration process is easy and you need only follow the online instructions. You should have received your unique user ID, your initial password and a registration pin mailer.

  • Connect to the internet and visit http://olt2.standardchartered.com
  • Select On-line Treasury
  • Select the "Country" you are registered with on the service
  • Select New User and enter your registration personal identification number (PIN).
  • You will be prompted to personalize your PIN
  • Have a new floppy disk ready in your A:\drive
  • Select Generate key and wait for the process to complete
  • Keep your personal certificate disk safely for all future logins and dealing

How do I login after I have successfully downloaded my personal digital certificate?

  • Connect to the internet and visit http://olt2.standardchartered.com
  • Select On-line Treasury
  • Select the "Country" you are registered with on the service
  • Place your personal certificate disk in your A:\drive
  • Enter your personalized PIN under Registered User
  • Enter your User ID and initial password
  • You must personalize your password on the initial login
  • Your personal On-line Treasury main window will open automatically when you are succesfully authenticated

What are the minimum system requirements?

  • Supports WinNT, Win98, Win2000 (English)
  • Pentium II 400 Processor
  • 128MB RAM (256MB RAM recommended)
  • 56 kbps modem (broadband recommended)
  • Internet Explorer v5.5
  • Java Virtual Machine 1.2.2 Plugin required
  • Adobe ? Acrobat Reader (required for research)

The personal digital certificate issued / generated should not be treated as a certificate issued as per the provisions of the said Act. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be liable to any person for any such representations or misrepresentations by the User in this regard or if the same is misconceived by any one as a certificate issued by such certifying authority.
